Charles Baker Insurance has been locally owned and operated since Mr. Charles Baker opened the doors in 1955. Mr. Baker was a third generation native to Munday, TX and served the community in a number of ways. He built Charles Baker Insurance on the same principle- service to others. In 1984 Charles hired Jan Searcey as his secretary, she later not only became an agent, she also became a Certified Insurance Counselor. After purchasing the company in 1993, she chose to carry on in the same way Mr. Baker had. Jan served her community and taught these values to her daughter, Jenna Searcey, who now runs the agency.
